we have used a company "Just Host" for about 4 years and everything has worked, they had an equipment failure about a year ago, a box just up and died, we were on the road between Portland, OR and Tacoma, WA. Didn't have our passwords with us. The people in our office didn't have access to the site backups (they were in our house with no one home). We had a concert coming up and were depending on the website to sell tickets. In short we were SC#$%ed! or so we thought. About three hours later our website came back up with a back up that Just Host had made the day before. That is the extent of known outages in the 4 years. I also have a site with Go Daddy and I am less than pleased with them.

You can go to www.singersmarin.org to see my site on Go Daddy. I never really developed my flying site due to a lack of time.

I will be developing a replacement for my wife's site in the near future as my time is freeing up again.

I went to a Joomla user group meeting last week and the subject was "Hosting Your Website" it was 2 hours of very interesting info. I

TOMSCHIFF " I need to increase the word count for the posts. Will do that right now!"

That was something I was going to suggest. Jen you stole my suggestion Bad and Wrong .

Since returning from Clinton IA on August 8 I have been remodeling the main bathroom of our house (don't ask why it is taking so long) with 5 weeks out for a massive flu attack I haven't touched my beloved 150. Hope to get to the annual in a week or two and back to flying again.

Jen D Sorry to hear that you've been sick. There's a horrible strain of flu going around.

    1. Finding this area "Groups" is a non intuitive from the the main menu one has to go to Groups where one finds a blank page and then go to My Groups. Whew! Talk about being hidden. Should be able to go from main menu directly to My Groups.
    2. I started a post under the Maintenance Group about using an Engine Analyzer as a Tool. Went to upload a file MagCheck2.PDF which went successfully but cannot view the file or attach it to the post.

Jen D I changed the settings so that now when you open the Groups tab it shows the Group summaries. Also added Groups to the top menu/Membership tab.

Clicked on the file MagCheck2.pdf and a window opens and then closes but never get to see the contents of the .pdf file. I will give up[ for now I have tried about 6 different things and they appeared to be accepted by the system but they don't work.

TOMSCHIFF This is a reply to the comment that I just posted.

    Engine Analyzer as a Tool

I have been using my engine analyzer to help me diagnose what the engine is doing when it is doing things that I don't expect it to do. I hope to...
