I've got a POH for a 1961 172 that shows the auxiliary tanks. I'm attaching the applicable pages here. Hopefully, Steve Ells will chime in with more technical information that you might need.

Baggage Compt Fuel tank was created by David Cheney
I recently bought a baggage compt fuel tank for my 1960 175. Anyone know where I could get a POH insert for the tank and an installation manual? This a standard cessna part for the C172 and C175.
