I have searched high and low on B&Cs website. I see a pad mounted 20-30amp alternator but not for TR182. Did you have any luck?

As of yet, my search has yet to yield a dual alternator config for this aircraft.

Hi Darin,
Thanks for that steer, but it looks like that solution is not yet approved for the Cessna TR 182; it's only approved for the post 1998 Cessna 182 and 206.

Hi Nathan;

I am aware of a couple of other TR 182 owners that are working right now with B & C 20 amp accessory case mounted generators. bandc.com .

I'll reach out to them and get you an update.

Steve

Hi Folks,

I am looking for a standby alternator solution.

I have: 1980 TR182

I no longer have a vacuum pump thanks to a panel upgrade so a gear driven would be nice but, I have yet to find a solution to this problem.

Anyone have a backup alternator on a TR182? If so; what is it?
