I found the following on another site. It appears as though the G5 will require a software update by a Garmin dealer.

must do both if you have 2 G5s…

G5 Magnetometer IGRF was created by Reid Hipp
In the last week I noticed my G5 heading was not insync with my 750. To day I got the following message: Magnetometer IGRF data out of date. See picture. In my research none seems to have a clear answer on how to update the G5.
