Kent,
I had it wrong. AD 79-15-01 needed to be complied with (by installing a dash placard) if service kit SK 205-5 or SK 206-2 HAD been installed. My mechanic checked the logs, and my plane has the AD complied with in 1979 and as per the AD text, states neither of the SK kits were installed. So we are good to go! However, we are curious as to what these kits consisted of.

More info on compliance with AD 79-15-01. The service kits called out are SK 205-5 and SK 206-2.

We cannot find info on either of these. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Fred Merlino

My mechanic said that the placard “Major Fuel Flow Fluctuations/Power Surges” mandated by the AD is not required if SK kit is installed. We are trying to find out what this SK kit is. This is for a 1964 C210D, s/n 21058246.

Thanks,
Fred Merlino
