This old trick:
-- or --
Test this on a sample screw first so you know the feel and grab it has. You don't want to crack the p-glass. .

I wish I had great words of wisdom for you. The only time I've seen the handle successfully removed was when I was in a 182 where it fell off in flight. Now that will get your attention.

The window hinge on the pilot side (only side with a window hinge in my H model) has come loose and I am having one heck of a time trying to remove the small screw within the hinge handle. I want to remove and replace the screw so that I can tighten hinge handle (and stop it from opening in flight and scaring my wife). I am guessing the screw is stripped. Open to any suggestions on removing the hinge handle?
