I always follow the data in the service manual; different torques apply to different applications. The strength is in the size of the bolt and where the force is applied. The engine mount bolts are there to hold the strength bearing parts of the mount in position. 190 inch pounds (15.8 foot pounds) is deemed to be the correct torque for that application.

Good Morning, can you guys help me.

I have a cessna 182 C and I am placing the enginer mounting and looking in the manual it tells me to apply on the bolts 190 lbs / in per bolt. It seems to me very little, can you help me?
