Hi John;
I'm a strong believer in sheep skin seat covers. I have had a pair over the front seats of my Comanche for at least 8 years, and they have preserved the seats, and add comfort in hot and cold weather.
Only one suggestion; don't get the less expensive ones. I put a set of those in my Subaru road ride 6 years about and while they did protect the seat fabric, a bit of the dye transferred to my seats.
Places I know you'll get quality covers designed for the seats in many different airplane type are www.Sportys.com and www.aircraftspruce.com . A good set will cost around $500. Worth every penny and you can pick the color to match your interior.

Seat Covers for Front C182 Seats? was created by JOHN OWENS
Does anyone have recent experience with installing seat covers? I have a C182E with quality front seats that I want to protect. Is there a source/vendor that has a supply? My seats are new like and function just fine, so no need to repair, just want to protect what I have. Suggestions? References?
