I purchased this unit in November 2006 and connected directly to ships power. It continued to work flawlessly in my 172 right up to when it was removed. I am including a brand new GXM-40 XM antenna which I received to replace a defective GXM-30A. It comes in the original box, with packaging and all manuals. (I have the GXM-30A manual). I upgraded my panel and now have redundancy built in, otherwise I would have kept it as a backup on the co-pilot’s yoke! Besides the normal included antennas, I will also include a Garmin GA-56 exterior antenna and coax which I had the unit connected to.

I can send photos if you like. Feel free to ask any questions prior to purchasing.
